Job summary

Walgreens in Columbus is seeking an inventory-led associate to support store inventory across front end and pharmacy. You will help receiving, counting, pricing, returns, and ensure planograms and on-shelf availability are accurate.

Under the pharmacist-in-charge, you will monitor stock levels, coach team members on inventory best practices, and assist with pricing tasks, vendor orders, and recalls. A minimum of six months with Walgreens or one year retail experience and fluent English are

Qualifications

• Six months of work experience with Walgreens or one year of prior retail experience.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
• Experience identifying operational issues and implementing improvements.

Responsibilities

• Execute, monitor, and train inventory best practices for the store, including front end and pharmacy.
• Support inventory management activities: receiving, counting, ordering, returns, and planogram accuracy.
• Review reports and system applications affecting on-hand balances and pricing.
• Maintain asset protection procedures and process claims for overages, shortages, or damaged goods.
• Open/close responsibilities in designated stores and manage cash handling when required.
• Execute pricing activities, including price changes and sign accuracy, and support regulatory pricing tasks.
• Assist in ordering and managing inventory for front end and pharmacy, including vendor and interstore transfers.
