Job summary

Qualifications

• Six months of prior work experience with Walgreens (internal candidates) or one year of prior retail work experience.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Achieving expectations rating on last performance review and no prior disciplinary actions (internal candidates).
• Attention to detail and ability to multi-task and execute.
• Experience in identifying operational issues and implementing solutions.

Responsibilities

• Execute, monitor, and train inventory best practices for the store, including front end and pharmacy.
• Support pharmacy inventory management activities, including receiving, counting, ordering, and returns.
• Champion On-Shelf Availability and manage planograms accuracy.
• Review reports and system applications impacting front end and pharmacy on-hand balances and pricing.
• Execute front end and pharmacy asset protection and handle related claims.
• Open/close store in absence of management in designated stores and handle cash and POS tasks.
• Engage customers, resolve issues, and ensure a positive experience.
• Coach team on warehouse/vendor inventory processes and order handling.
• Scan deliveries, manage One Box receiving, and correct orders with vendors.
• Verify pharmacy shipments and postings, manage recalls and recalls processes, and report shortages or damages.
• Complete pricing activities, including price changes and signage accuracy.
• Support ordering by budgeting and monitoring pharmacy and front-end orders.
• Maintain inventory accuracy across stockroom, departments, and holding areas.
• Ensure compliance with state/local laws for regulated products and manage records and invoices.
• Prepare for physical inventory and assist third-party inventory audits.
• Maintain clean, well-merchandised counters and shelves and operate store systems.
