Job summary

Walgreens is seeking an Inventory and Operations Associate to execute, monitor, and train inventory best practices across front end and pharmacy. You will manage receiving, counting, ordering, pricing, discounts, and planograms, ensuring On-Shelf Availability and accurate on-hand balances.

Under pharmacist-in-charge supervision, you will verify postings, perform shelf replenishments, cycle counts, and support pricing and recalls while maintaining compliance and customer service.

Qualifications

• Six months of prior work experience with Walgreens (internal candidates) or one year of prior retail work experience (external candidates).
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Must have a willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to multi task and manage execution.
• Experience in identifying operational issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems.
• Prefer previous experience as a shift lead, pharmacy technician, designated hitter, or customer service associate.
• Prefer to have prior work experience with Walgreens, with an evaluation on file.

• Supports inventory management activities including receiving, counting, ordering, and returns.
• Champions On-Shelf Availability and ensures planograms accuracy and pricing.
