Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a store associate responsible for executing, monitoring, and training inventory best practices across the entire store, including front end and pharmacy. You will support pharmacy inventory management activities such as receiving, counting, ordering, and returns, while ensuring planograms are accurate and on-shelf availability is maintained.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to multi task and manage execution.
• Experience in identifying operational issues and recommending and implementing solutions.

Responsibilities

• Execute and monitor inventory best practices for both front end and pharmacy.
• Assist pharmacy inventory management activities: receiving, counting, ordering, returns.
• Validate and ensure accuracy of planograms and pricing in-store.
• Review and coordinate use of reports and systems affecting on-hand balances and pricing.
• Perform front end and pharmacy asset protection tasks and handle vendor overages, shortages, and damaged goods claims.
• Open and close the store as needed, including cash handling and POS oversight.
• Oversee On-Shelf Availability end-to-end processes for planogrammed departments.
