Job summary

Delaware Valley Floral Group in Indianapolis is seeking a Central Desk Associate to coordinate purchase orders, pick tickets, inventory, and invoicing, while supporting Sales and other departments with order and inventory issues. The role requires strong organizational and communication skills and basic Word/Excel knowledge.

You will work in a fast-paced warehouse environment, ensuring orders are processed accurately and on time, with schedules including weekends and peak periods.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Good interpersonal and cross-departmental communication.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Experience with order management or warehouse operations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate pick ticket generation and allocation across locations.
• Monitor inventory activity and process adjustments to maintain accuracy.
• Expedite customer orders by tracking allocations and substitutions.
• Support Sales and Purchasing by resolving order issues and inquiries.
• Prepare and execute invoicing activities and night-end processes.
• Monitor status reports to identify issues and meet cutoffs.
