Job summary

Delaware Valley Floral Group in Indianapolis is seeking a Central Desk Associate to support warehouse operations by coordinating purchase orders, pick tickets, inventory, and invoicing. You will assist Sales, Purchasing, and other departments to resolve order issues and ensure timely processing.

Responsibilities include coordinating pick tickets across locations, monitoring inventory, expediting orders, and maintaining accurate documentation in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational and communication skills across departments.
• Basic MS Word and Excel proficiency required.
• Ability to prioritize time-sensitive work and meet cutoffs.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of Apprise is a plus; warehouse/order management experience is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate pick ticket generation and allocation across warehouse locations.
• Monitor inventory activity and research discrepancies for accuracy.
• Expedite customer orders by tracking allocations and substitutions.
• Support Sales and other departments by resolving order issues.
• Prepare invoicing activities and ensure night-end processing.
• Monitor order status and reports to meet established cutoffs.
• Communicate order needs with cross-functional teams.
• Maintain accurate documentation while managing multiple priorities.
