Job summary

ABB is seeking a Supply Chain professional in Fort Smith to lead material planning and inventory control. You will analyze production forecasts, coordinate with suppliers, and drive cost-efficient strategies to maintain optimal stock levels on site.

The role requires collaboration across procurement, logistics and production teams, with focus on data-driven reporting and continuous process improvements. Onsite work in Fort Smith, AR supporting manufacturing operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business or related field (preferred).
• Experience in material planning or inventory management in manufacturing or supply chain.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with ERP and SAP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Material Planning & Inventory Control: analyze forecasts and schedules to determine material needs and minimize excess stock.
• Procurement & Logistics Coordination: work with procurement and logistics to ensure timely materials delivery and issue resolution.
• Data Management & Reporting: use ERP to track inventory and prepare regular planning reports for management.
• Continuous Improvement: monitor turnover and contribute to efficiency initiatives.
