Job summary

MP Materials is seeking a Planning Specialist to support manufacturing operations in Fort Worth, TX. The role focuses on managing inventory, conducting cycle counts, and resolving discrepancies across raw materials, WIP, and finished goods to ensure production stays on schedule.

The ideal candidate brings experience in inventory control, cycle counts, and ERP systems (SAP), and works closely with process, warehouse, and planning teams to maintain inventory integrity.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2+ years in manufacturing, inventory control, or production planning support.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory records for raw materials, WIP, intermediates, and finished goods.
• Monitor daily inventory transactions and investigate discrepancies between physical inventory and system records.
• Reconcile inventory variances and coordinate corrective actions with Operations, Warehousing, and Supply Chain teams.
• Support inventory accuracy initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.
• Ensure timely and accurate inventory movements within ERP and inventory management systems.
• Monitor inventory availability to support production schedules and eliminate risks as needed.
