Job summary

ABB in Richmond, VA is seeking an experienced Inventory Planner to own end-to-end inventory planning, from requisition through customer invoicing and delivery. You will set safety stock levels, reorder points, lot sizes, and lead times, and ensure material availability aligns with the manufacturing plan.

You will analyze shortages, adjust SAP parameters, and collaborate with buyers to optimize supplier performance, on-time delivery, and minimum order quantities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in engineering, supply chain, or related field is required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in material planning/purchasing/supply chain.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end planning of inventory, from purchase requisition to customer invoice.
• Set inventory parameters: safety stock, reorder point, lot size, lead time, replenishment strategies.
• Collaborate with Buyers to optimize supplier performance and on-time delivery.
