Job summary

Walgreens in the United States is seeking a store team member to manage inventory across front end and pharmacy, including receiving, counting, ordering, and returns, and to ensure on-shelf availability and accurate pricing. You will validate planograms and assist with pharmacy shipments under the pharmacist-in-charge.

You will engage customers, coach staff on warehouse and vendor processes, and support inventory and pricing accuracy.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Six months of prior Walgreens experience (internal) or one year of prior retail experience (external).
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to multi task and manage execution.
• Experience in identifying operational issues and recommending and implementing solutions.

Responsibilities

• Execute, monitor, and train inventory best practices and procedures for the store, including front end and pharmacy inventory management, receiving, counting, ordering, pricing, returns, and planogram validation.
• Review and coordinate reports and system applications affecting on-hand balances and pricing for front end and pharmacy.
• Execute and maintain front end and pharmacy asset protection, and file claims for overages, shortages, or damaged goods including prescription drugs.
• In designated stores, open and close the store in the absence of store management, including cash handling and POS duties.
