Job summary

Walgreens is seeking an inventory and operations associate to support front-end and pharmacy inventory, pricing and planograms. You will execute, monitor, and train inventory best practices and coordinate with pharmacy staff.

The role includes asset protection, receiving deliveries, scanning, posting pharmacy orders, and maintaining accurate counts. In designated stores you may open/close and handle cash while delivering exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

Six months of prior work experience with Walgreens (internal candidates) or one year of prior retail work experience (external candidates).
Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
Must have a willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to multi task and manage execution.
Experience in identifying operational issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems.

Responsibilities

Execute, monitor, and train inventory best practices and SOPs for the store, including front end and pharmacy.
Review and coordinate use of reports and system applications affecting on-hand balances and pricing.
Perform front end and pharmacy asset protection, including filing claims for overages, shortages, and damaged goods.
Open and close the store in the absence of management, including cash handling and cashier duties.
Engage customers and deliver a distinctive service experience, resolving issues as on-duty leader.
