Job summary

Qualifications

• Six months of prior Walgreens experience (internal) or one year of retail experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
• Experience identifying operational issues and implementing solutions.

Responsibilities

• Execute and monitor inventory best practices for the entire store (front end and pharmacy).
• Review and coordinate proper use of reports affecting on-hand balances and pricing.
• Perform front end and pharmacy asset protection tasks and handle vendor overages/shortages.
• Open/close store in absence of management in designated stores.
• Engage customers, greet, and assist to ensure a positive experience.
• Coach team members on warehouse, vendor inventory, and scanning processes.
• Process deliveries, scans, and returns, including One Box receiving and DS/DSD handling.
• Verify pharmacy shipments and postings, manage recalls, and report shortages or damaged products.
• Complete pricing activities and ensure accurate signage and regulatory pricing tasks.
• Support ordering and inventory for front end and pharmacy, maintain consigned inventory.
• Maintain inventory counts and ensure compliance with state/local regulations for regulated items.
• Prepare for physical inventory and assist third-party inventory teams.
• Ensure cleanliness and merchandising of counters and shelves.
