Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Store Inventory Associate to support front end and pharmacy inventory, pricing, asset protection, and on-shelf availability. You’ll help receive, count, and organize merchandise while ensuring accuracy across systems and planograms.

You’ll also assist with warehouse deliveries, vendor returns, pricing changes, and daily inventory tasks, while delivering friendly customer service and maintaining compliance with store policies.

Qualifications

• Six months of prior Walgreens experience (internal) or one year of prior retail work experience (external).
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Execute and monitor inventory best practices for front end and pharmacy.
• Review reports and systems to ensure accurate on-hand balances and pricing.
• Perform front end and pharmacy asset protection, including vendor overages/shortages and returns.
• Open and close store as required, including cash handling and POS duties when on duty.
• Engage customers, assist with products and services, and resolve issues for a positive experience.
• Scan deliveries, manage One Box receiving, and coordinate with vendors on deliveries and returns.
• Verify pharmacy shipments, report shortages, and post pharmacy/OTC orders daily.
