Job summary

Walgreens is seeking an inventory-focused team member to manage front-end and pharmacy inventory, pricing, and on-shelf availability. The role includes receiving, counting, and returning merchandise, along with supporting vendor and warehouse processes.

As part of the store team, you will engage customers, resolve issues, and help ensure accurate on-hand balances, planograms, and pricing. Flexibility for evening/weekend shifts is required.

Qualifications

• Six months of prior Walgreens experience or one year of prior retail experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to multi-task and execute.
• Experience in identifying operational issues and recommending resolutions.

Responsibilities

• Execute, monitor, and train inventory best practices for store and pharmacy.
• Support inventory management: receiving, counting, ordering, returns.
• Verify planograms, pricing, and on-hand balances across front-end and pharmacy.
• Open/close duties in designated stores, cash handling, and POS tasks.
• Engage customers and deliver a distinctive Walgreens experience.
• Coach team on warehouse/vendor inventory processes and order fulfillment.
• Scan deliveries, uphold One-Box receiving, and correct order discrepancies.
• Verify and post pharmacy shipments and recalls as supervised by PIC.
• Complete On-Shelf Availability and end-to-end inventory processes, including transfers.
• Maintain accurate inventory counts and pricing, with compliant signage.
