Job summary

IMI plc in University Park, IL is seeking an Inventory Clerk to prepare and maintain inventory records and ensure items are properly identified and accessible. You will support production by delivering parts as needed and managing stock levels on site.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 is preferred.
• Occasional heavy lifting of stock and parts.

Responsibilities

• Post inventory records for new materials and items dispensed by job orders.
• Take periodic inventories and correct discrepancies as per policy.
• Identify and stock bins and shelves with received supplies and materials.
• Verify packing slips against purchase orders and resolve discrepancies.
• Enter incoming shipments into the computer after verification.
• Handle return shipments (RMAs) to the manufacturer.
• Place items on mobile racks for transport to designated locations.
• Inspect and inventory metallic bar stock as required.
