Job summary

IMI is seeking a Materials Clerk/Factory Worker to monitor stock around workstations, replenish materials, and support production flow. You’ll coordinate shortages with management and help ensure a smooth daily schedule across the facility.

The role emphasizes hands-on inventory tasks, data entry, and physical readiness, including lifting and standing for extended periods. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits accompany the position.

Qualifications

• 1 year of manufacturing experience on a plant floor.
• Basic reading comprehension and writing skills; able to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Must be quality and detail oriented.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle last minute requests.
• Proficiency with inventory software/databases; JDE/Oracle preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure raw materials and parts are supplied where and when needed by prepping jobs for operators in advance of next day’s production schedule.
• Replenish materials and supplies as needed.
• Manage inventory with daily cycle counts and assist in full counts.
• Transport finished goods to warehouse.
• Transport excess materials and return to stock.
• Removal of waste.
• Assist with receiving and sorting plating materials and placing into correct warehouse locations.
• Other tasks as assigned.
