Job summary

IMI in North Park, IL is seeking an Inventory Clerk to prepare and maintain inventory records, identify items, and support production by delivering parts as needed.

The role operates 3:15pm–1:15am, Mon–Thu, in a manufacturing setting. You will perform cycle counts, verify packing slips, and coordinate with Purchasing to reach minimum stock.

A High School diploma or GED is required; basic computer skills and clear communication are essential. ISO 9001 knowledge is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain inventory records and ensure items are identified and accessible.
• Perform periodic inventories and spot checks to verify records.
• Identify stock bins and store materials in their designated locations.
• Weight count items when issuing materials and obtain necessary requisition slips.
• Check packing slips against purchase orders and notify Purchasing to reorder as needed.
• Handle incoming shipments and data entry to assist in receiving and subcontracted services.
