Job summary

BETA Technologies in Vermont is seeking an Inventory Material Analyst to support inventory health, material availability, and warehouse-capacity planning across our facilities.

You will use data analysis, ERP expertise, and process-improvement practices to optimize inventory, reduce excess and obsolete material, manage shelf-life exposure, and enhance storage utilization for electric aircraft production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or 2+ years in inventory planning or supply chain roles.
• Experience with ERP systems and data-driven processes.
• Ability to build and implement new processes from scratch.
• Strong collaboration across multiple teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of safety stock, demand variance, aging inventory, and shelf-life.

Responsibilities

• Establish and validate safety-stock levels for production materials.
• Analyze age-sensitive materials, shelf-life, and disposition planning.
• Identify obsolete or slow-moving inventory and improve disposition.
• Improve material availability and reduce shortages through data analysis.
• Forecast warehouse space requirements and optimize layouts.
• Develop inventory planning metrics and dashboards.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain Ops to communicate risks and actions.
• Maintain ERP data to support accurate decision-making.
