Job summary

Thyssenkrupp Materials NA in Park City, KS seeks an Inventory/Materials Handler to provide accurate stock information across multiple branches. You will monitor inventory, perform data entry in the system, and support production by moving material from stock to processing while working on the warehouse floor near heavy machinery.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, ability to read/write English, basic math, forklift certification, and the ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and write English and perform basic math.
• Basic computer skills for data entry into inventory system.
• Ability to stand, bend, lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Complete material receiving activities for shipments between locations.
• Coordinate movement of material from stock to processing to support production requirements.
• Operate material handling equipment as necessary to support movement of material.
• Perform accurate and timely data entry within the inventory management system regarding material movements.
• Prepare and maintain appropriate inventory identification tags.
• Maintain a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail in all work.
• Assist quality assurance team in activities related to credits.
• Participate, support, and comply with Lean initiatives and requirements.
• This is a position that works directly on the warehouse floor around heavy machinery.
