Job summary

Thyssenkrupp Materials NA in Park City, Kansas, is hiring a Material Handler for extrusions on 3rd shift (Conv). You will move materials and products with a forklift, perform basic packaging, and support the warehouse floor operations.

You will follow safety, ISO, and 6S initiatives and work under direct supervision to meet daily production needs. The role involves lifting up to 70 lbs, basic math, and basic equipment operation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read/write English (French in Quebec).
• Ability to lift/carry up to 70 lbs for 100 ft.
• Ability to perform basic math and basic problem solving.
• Must sit for long periods and perform bending, twisting, squatting, reaching and grasping motions.
• Safety-minded and vigilant around machinery.

Responsibilities

• Move raw materials, finished goods, and equipment using forklift.
• Select and package customer orders accurately.
• Load/unload trucks and verify items.
• Use Kaltenbach saw for cutting orders when required.
• Perform cycle counts and identify defective material.
• Complete required paperwork per work instructions.
• Inspect forklift at each shift start and report issues.
