Résumé du poste

Future Form Manufacturing in Sparks, NV is seeking an Inventory Control & Material Flow Systems Manager to lead the inventory control function across all facilities. You will own accuracy, integrity, and financial health of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods, and drive policies, controls, and cycle counts.

As the NetSuite SME for material flow, you will configure and optimize the system, partner with Finance and IT, lead the cycle count program, and develop KPIs to support production

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business, Accounting, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 6+ years of experience in inventory control, materials management, or warehouse operations, ideally within a manufacturing environment
  • 2+ years of experience leading a team or managing people
  • Proven experience designing and running cycle count programs and physical inventories
  • Solid understanding of inventory accounting concepts (valuation, reconciliation, reserves, excess and obsolete) and their financial impact
  • Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, data modeling, and dashboard building
  • Experience with ERP and inventory management systems (NetSuite strongly preferred; OmegaCube a plus)
  • Hands-on experience as a lead, key user, or SME on an ERP implementation
  • Ability to translate shop floor and warehouse processes into clear system requirements

Responsabilités

  • Lead, coach, and develop the inventory control team, including setting priorities, assigning work, and conducting performance reviews and training.
  • Own inventory accuracy for raw materials, work in process, and finished goods across all facilities; set accuracy targets and hold the organization accountable to them.
  • Design and manage the cycle count program (including ABC classification and count frequency), review variances, approve adjustments, and drive root cause corrective action.
  • Plan and lead annual or periodic physical inventories in partnership with Finance, including count procedures, team coordination, reconciliation, and reporting of results.
  • Develop, document, and enforce inventory control policies and procedures for receiving, put-away, material issues, transfers, scrap, returns, and shipping transactions.
  • Partner with Finance on inventory valuation, month-end reconciliation, reserves, and audit support; ensure inventory records are accurate and audit-ready.
  • Maintain WIP and inventory tracking processes to support material flow visibility and accurate job costing across facilities.
  • Oversee warehouse and stockroom organization, location control, labeling, and material identification standards to support accurate, efficient material handling.
  • Ensure NetSuite item master, unit of measure, location, and inventory transaction data are accurate and controlled; audit system transactions for errors and training gaps.
  • Lead the material flow workstream of the NetSuite implementation, including current-state process mapping, future-state design, configuration decisions, testing, cutover, and post-go-live stabilization.
  • Serve as Future Form's NetSuite subject matter expert (SME) for material flow, including receiving, put-away, locations and bins, transfers, material issues to work orders, WIP, finished goods, and shipping transactions.
  • Own all NetSuite configuration, adjustments, and new builds that affect material flow (workflows, item records, units of measure, locations, transaction types, saved searches, and reports); define requirements, control changes, and ensure each change is tested, documented, and approved before release.
  • Partner with Finance and IT on NetSuite design, security roles, integrations, data migration, and testing, ensuring material flow transactions post correctly to inventory valuation and job costing.
  • Lead inventory and material flow data migration and cleansing (item master, on-hand balances, locations, open transactions) and validate accuracy at cutover.
  • Implement barcode scanning and mobile transaction capabilities in NetSuite to improve transaction accuracy and speed on the floor.
  • Develop NetSuite material flow procedures and work instructions, train end users, and serve as the escalation point for material flow transaction issues after go-live.
  • Own the integrity of the material flow team's processes and transactions, auditing NetSuite activity for accuracy and closing gaps through training and process changes.
  • Analyze and optimize material flow across facilities, from receiving through production to shipping, to reduce handling, travel, wait time, and inventory, using NetSuite data and Lean methods.
  • Build and maintain inventory dashboards and KPIs (inventory accuracy, turns, days on hand, adjustment value, excess and obsolete exposure); report results to Supply Chain, Operations, and Finance leadership and use the data to drive corrective action and continuous improvement.
  • Identify and lead Lean improvements that reduce inventory levels, transaction errors, and waste while supporting production schedules and customer commitments.
  • Identify excess, obsolete, and slow-moving inventory; recommend and execute disposition (use-up, return to vendor, rework, or scrap) in partnership with Planning, Purchasing, and Finance.
  • Oversee customer stocking, consignment, and customer-owned inventory programs, including agreed stocking levels, reconciliation to customer records, and accurate replenishment and billing triggers.
  • Maintain organized inventory records and documentation in accordance with company policy, customer requirements, and audit requirements.
  • All other duties as assigned.
