Job summary

HEPCO Inc is seeking an Inventory/Material Coordinator to support inventory accountability and accurate material records. The role emphasizes ERP data entry and hands-on material handling for commonly used components and small parts.

You will perform physical counts, use handheld scanners, and coordinate with the team to meet deadlines while maintaining a safe, organized workspace. A valid driver’s license, 40‑lb lifting ability, and schedule flexibility are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Minimum of three years of inventory management experience.
• Experience using an ERP system.
• Warehouse environment experience.
• Strong data entry, computer and typing skills, including MS Office and Outlook.
• Advanced math skills and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain accurate paperwork.
• Strong organization, time management and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Schedule flexibility for weekends, holidays, early mornings or evenings.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory and material records using ERP and tracking systems.
• Track, log, verify and record material information.
• Perform physical inventory counts using manual counting or weigh scales.
• Support cycle counts and inventory improvement activities.
• Use handheld scanners to locate and identify inventory quickly.
• Review and understand shipping documents.
• Open containers, count, weigh and sample materials.
• Pack/unpack materials and palletize shipments.
• Load/unload materials from pallets by hand.
• Coordinate with team to meet deadlines and maintain safe work areas.
