This Inventory Management Specialist Job Is for You, If You Enjoy:

• Handling the full cycle of the procurement process from creating POs, submitting them to vendors, following up on their status, vendor reconciliation, resolving account discrepancies, parking invoices, and other related duties.
• Performing administrative work in an office environment 85% of the time, with the remaining 15% spent walking to the warehouse to verify products and quantities. (Note: This is not a warehouse inventory or retail/sales inventory management role.)
• Creating reports based on sales trends, seasonality, and inventory on hand to analyze and generate POs accordingly.
• Maintaining professional relationships with over 55 vendors to ensure product availability, assortment levels, and inventory flow in the supply chain.
• Working at our Hudson facility.

Your Team is counting on you as an Inventory Management Specialist to:

• Have open availability to work the schedule
• Work a full-time schedule

Inventory Management Specialist Key Responsibilities:

• Procurement/Purchasing full cycle including data analysis, creating POs, submitting POs, following up with vendors, parking invoices.
• Managing accounts payable for the entire facility.
• Communicating daily with internal and external vendors to research and resolve payment discrepancies.
• Reviewing purchase orders and related documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Ensuring accurate data entry and detailed record-keeping.
• Coordinating with Receiving Warehouse Personnel to verify PO accuracy and receipt details.
• Maintaining effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Following up and resolving outstanding accounts payable issues.
• Performing month-end duties and meeting accounting deadlines.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience with SAP or other inventory management software.
• Extensive Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas like VLookup and pivot tables.
• Excellent time management and analytical abilities.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
