Job summary

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of cycle counting, reconciliation, replenishment, and demand planning.

  • Experience with ERP and/or WMS.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to investigate discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication; able to work independently and cross-functionally.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and improve inventory control processes to maintain accurate stock records.
  • Monitor inventory levels, movement, aging, shortages, and excess stock.
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies and identify root causes.
  • Develop and implement cycle-counting and physical inventory procedures.
  • Reconcile physical inventory against ERP/WMS records.
  • Establish inventory KPIs and provide regular reporting to management.
  • Analyze demand, usage, lead times, and historical trends to recommend appropriate inventory levels.
  • Develop reorder points, safety-stock levels, and replenishment strategies.
  • Identify slow-moving, obsolete, and excess inventory and recommend corrective actions.
  • Improve receiving, put-away, picking, transfers, returns, and inventory‑adjustment procedures.
  • Create inventory controls that reduce shrinkage, errors, stockouts, and unnecessary carrying costs.

We are seeking an experienced Inventory Management Expert to improve inventory accuracy, optimize stock levels, strengthen inventory controls, and develop efficient processes across our operation.

The ideal candidate is highly analytical, hands-on, and experienced in identifying inventory discrepancies, investigating root causes, improving warehouse processes, and using inventory data to support purchasing and operational decisions.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in inventory management, inventory control, warehouse operations, supply chain, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory-control principles, cycle counting, reconciliation, replenishment, and demand planning.
  • Advanced Excel and data-analysis skills.
  • Experience working with ERP and/or Warehouse Management Systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to investigate discrepancies and implement sustainable corrective actions.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across departments.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience improving inventory accuracy in a high-volume warehouse or distribution environment.
  • Experience with ERP/WMS implementation or optimization.
  • Knowledge of ABC analysis, inventory turnover, safety stock, reorder-point calculations, and forecasting.
  • Experience developing dashboards and inventory KPIs.
  • Lean, Six Sigma, APICS/ASCM, CPIM, CSCP, or related certification is a plus.
