Job summary

SpaceXAI is seeking a Porter Supervisor to manage inventory, ordering, receiving, and staff scheduling for the Culinary and Food & Beverage teams. The role includes payroll management, assigning responsibilities, and ensuring food safety and quality practices are followed.

You will oversee heavy lifting for event setup and equipment transport, while maintaining clean, safe operations and coordinating with vendors and internal teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
• 2+ years of inventory experience.
• 2+ years of restaurant or retail food service experience.
• 1+ years of leadership experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.
• Stand for long periods; up to 10 hours a day.
• Must be able to work all shifts, overtime, weekends and holidays.
• Willingness to travel to other SpaceX locations for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-hand inventories and place orders for all concept areas.
• Receive and inspect deliveries from vendors daily.
• Set and enforce standards for ordering and receiving operations.
• Maintain accurate inventory records for all departmental areas.
• Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure optimal product and vendor selection.
• Monitor and track departmental spending by vendor.
• Reconcile invoices and submit purchase orders for food and equipment vendors.
• Manage porters to provide site support and event setup.
