Job summary

State of Oklahoma seeks a Materiel Management Specialist II to oversee the acquisition, storage, and distribution of supplies in the District 3 warehouse. Responsibilities include receiving, issuing, shipping, inventory control, and coordination with vendors and internal departments.

The role requires two years of related experience or an equivalent education/experience mix, plus ability to prepare basic reports and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications

• Two years experience in receipt, storage, or stock handling work; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to write simple reports; follow instructions; maintain detailed inventory records.

Responsibilities

• Receives, issues, ships and files materials and supplies; uses machinery as needed.
• Supervises and trains subordinate personnel; edits requisitions and purchase orders.
• Confers with department heads and vendors concerning purchases, deliveries, and acceptability of supplies.
