Job summary

United Felts, Inc. is seeking an organized Inventory Control Specialist to join our Martinsville warehouse team. You will coordinate physical inventory, manage ERP receipts and transfers, and ensure accurate labeling and stock availability to support production and shipping.

Key duties include weekly cycle counts, discrepancy investigations, and maintaining 5S warehouse standards. Proficiency with NetSuite or similar ERP, handheld scanners, and forklift operation are valued assets.

Qualifications

• Experience with ERP inventory transactions (NetSuite preferred).
• Proficiency with handheld scanners and label printers.
• Ability to read material identifiers, shipping documents and measurements.

Responsibilities

• Liner receiving, transfers and shipping: verify, receive, and store liners in ERP and bins.
• Maintain ERP location alignment with physical locations and transfers.
• Investigate missing receipts, open transfers and unresolved shipments to resolution.
• Move and stage liners for production or shipment per procedures.
• Maintain supply room organization and stock levels; monitor consumption and place purchase requests.
• Escalate shortages, excess stock, and pending supply requests.
• Perform weekly cycle counts and monthly inventory counts; resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain labels and ensure ERP records match storage locations.
• Operate forklift after training and authorization; follow safety procedures.
• Provide backup support for Inventory Controls and Supply Room functions; weekly supervisor updates.
