Job summary

Walgreens is seeking an Inventory Specialist to execute and monitor inventory best practices across the store, including front end and pharmacy operations. You will assist with receiving, counting, ordering, pricing, returns, and planogram validation.

Qualifications

• Six months of prior Walgreens experience or one year in retail.
• Fluent reading, writing, and speaking English (except Puerto Rico).
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and multitasking.Experience in identifying operational issues and implementing solutions.

Responsibilities

• Execute, monitor, and train inventory best practices across front end and pharmacy.
• Manage receiving, counting, ordering, returns, pricing, and planogram accuracy.
• Close supervision of pharmacy shipments, inventory postings, and recalls as needed.
• Lead store operations during designated leader-on-duty shifts, including cash handling and POS oversight.
• Maintain clean, well-merchandised shelves and optimal on-hand quantities.
