Job summary

Qualifications

• Six months of prior work experience with Walgreens or one year of prior retail work experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Experience in identifying operational issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems.

Responsibilities

• Execute, monitor, and train inventory best practices and SOPs for the entire store, including front end and pharmacy.
• Support inventory management activities including receiving, counting, ordering, and returns; ensure planograms accuracy.
• Review and coordinate proper use of reports and systems affecting front end and pharmacy on-hand balances and pricing.
• Execute and maintain front end and pharmacy asset protection, file claims for overages/shortages/damage, including prescription drugs.
• Assist with opening/closing the store in absence of management and perform cash handling and cashier duties as needed.
• Engage customers, greet and assist with products/services, and resolve issues to ensure a positive experience.
