Job summary

Priority Tire in Charlotte, NC is seeking an Inventory Lead to oversee a large tire inventory and lead a team of inventory associates. You will drive accuracy, implement controls, and optimize processes to minimize discrepancies.

The role requires strong leadership, analytical thinking, and hands-on involvement with receiving, inventory, and shipping operations. This is a full-time, on-site position offering growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience leading inventory teams in a warehouse setting.
• Strong understanding of inventory controls, including cycle and blind counts.
• Familiarity with RMAs and returns processes.
• Experience with WMS and inventory software.
• Excellent communication and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accuracy of 150,000–200,000 tires in inventory.
• Lead and train inventory control associates.
• Oversee blind counts, cycle counts, and physical inventories.
• Investigate discrepancies and perform root cause analysis.
• Develop strategies to optimize inventory flow and reduce costs.
• Manage RMA and Drop Ship returns processes.
• Communicate with internal customers via email to complete adjustments and returns.
• Collaborate with purchasing, sales, and warehouse operations.
• Utilize WMS and inventory software to track metrics and report results.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment in adherence to policies.
