Job summary

Priority Tire is seeking an Inventory Lead to oversee a large tire inventory and lead a team of inventory associates. The role focuses on accuracy, process improvement, and collaboration with purchasing and sales to ensure efficient warehouse operations.

The successful candidate will manage cycles counts, discrepancies, and returns processes, while driving cost reductions and improved stock availability in a fast-paced, on-site environment.

Qualifications

• Must have hands-on experience leading inventory control in a warehouse/distribution setting.
• Knowledge of blind counts, discrepancy analysis, and stock count dynamics is essential.
• Experience with WMS and inventory software is required.
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities are essential.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage a large tire inventory (150,000–200,000).
• Lead and coach inventory control associates to meet performance targets.
• Implement inventory control procedures (blind counts, cycle counts, physical inventories).
• Investigate discrepancies and perform root-cause analysis.
• Develop strategies to optimize inventory flow and reduce carrying costs.
• Manage RMA and Drop Ship returns processing.
• Communicate with internal customers and stakeholders regarding inventory adjustments.
