Job summary

Priority Tire in Coppell, TX, is seeking an Inventory Lead to oversee a large tire inventory and lead a team of inventory associates. You will manage accuracy, coach staff, and drive process improvements to boost efficiency and reduce discrepancies.

You will utilize WMS and inventory software to track metrics, resolve discrepancies, and collaborate with purchasing, sales, and warehouse operations. This is a full-time, on-site role with competitive biweekly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Inventory Lead or similar in a warehouse or distribution environment.
• Strong understanding of inventory control principles, including counts and discrepancy analysis.
• Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee large-scale inventory accuracy (150,000–200,000 tires) and lead the inventory team.
• Implement and monitor inventory control procedures (blind counts, cycle counts, physical inventories).
• Investigate discrepancies and perform root-cause analysis to address issues.
• Develop strategies to optimize inventory flow, reduce carrying costs, and minimize stockouts.
• Manage RMA and Drop Ship returns processes with timely, accurate processing.
• Communicate with internal customers and stakeholders to complete inventory adjustments and returns.
