Job summary

Priority Tire is seeking an Inventory Lead to oversee large-scale tire inventory across warehouses. You will lead a team of inventory associates, implement control procedures, and drive accuracy and efficiency in receiving, storage, and shipping.

You will collaborate with purchasing, sales, and warehouse ops to optimize stock levels, reduce discrepancies, and ensure timely returns processing while maintaining a safe, organized work environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Inventory Lead or similar in a warehouse or distribution setting.
• Strong understanding of inventory control, including counts and discrepancy analysis.
• Experience with WMS and inventory software.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the accuracy of a large-scale inventory of 150,000-200,000 tires.
• Lead and supervise a team of inventory associates; coach and support performance targets.
• Implement inventory control procedures: blind counts, cycle counts, physical inventories.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies with root cause analysis.
• Develop strategies to optimize inventory flow and reduce carrying costs.
• Oversee RMA and Drop Ship returns processing; ensure timely handling.
• Communicate professionally via email with internal customers and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with purchasing, sales, and warehouse ops for seamless inventory management.
• Utilize WMS and inventory software to track, analyze, and report key metrics.
