Job summary

Walgreens Fort Kent is seeking a store inventory and operations associate to implement inventory best practices across front end and pharmacy, including receiving, counting, pricing, returns, and planogram accuracy.

You will engage customers, support on-shelf availability, and assist with pricing and discounts while supervising during leader-on-duty shifts to ensure smooth daily operations and policy compliance.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (Basic Qualifications).
• Experience in customer service and retail operations is preferred.
• Ability to identify issues and implement resolution strategies.

Responsibilities

• Execute, monitor, and train inventory best practices for store, front end, and pharmacy.
• Support inventory management: receiving, counting, ordering, and returns.
• Ensure on-shelf availability and planogram accuracy across departments.
• Review reports and systems to maintain accurate on-hand balances and pricing.
• Open/close store when required and handle cash with responsibility.
• Engage customers, resolve issues, and model service excellence.
• Coaching team on warehouse/vendor inventory processes and deliveries.
• Verify pharmacy shipments posted and supervise pharmacy/ABC orders daily.
• Complete pricing changes, markdowns, and store signage accuracy.
• Assist in making pending orders and monitor stock levels.
