Job summary

Forgent Power is seeking an Inventory Lead to oversee daily inventory operations, ensure accurate records, and support efficient material flow across the organization. The role requires leadership of inventory specialists and coordination with warehouse, purchasing, production, and logistics teams. Typical hours are Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.

Qualifications

• Must have 3+ years in inventory control, warehouse, or materials management.
• Experience leading a team and coordinating with cross-functional groups.
• Proficiency with ERP/WMS and inventory reporting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily inventory operations and ensure accurate records in ERP/WMS.
• Monitor inventory levels, discrepancies, shortages, and overages; resolve variances.
• Coordinate movements between locations and departments.
• Lead cycle counts and physical inventory audits; develop schedules.
• Train inventory staff and provide daily direction to the team.
• Prepare inventory reports for management review and assist with annual counts.
