Job summary

Ace Retail Group is seeking an Inventory Coordinator to maintain accuracy of store inventory and ensure the right products are in the right place at the right time. The role supports receiving, discrepancy resolution, and cycle counts to sustain store operations.

The position involves approximately 20–30 hours per week with focus on customer service and collaboration with store teams to maintain stock integrity and process POs efficiently.

Qualifications

• Ability to work both independently and on a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated with strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to research and identify root causes of inventory discrepancies.
• Retail store experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure POs are correctly received from Ace and non-Ace vendors.
• Report inventory discrepancies such as over/short and damages.
• Coordinate with the freight captain for receiving and replenishment.
• Investigate outs by scanning locations, determine causes, and correct errors.
• Utilize Mango reports and conduct daily cycle counts to maintain accuracy.
• Follow defective merchandise procedures to obtain credits.
• Maintain inventory integrity and adjust counts after proper research.
• Oversee price changes, location codes, inventory levels, and adjustments.
• Coordinate periodic full-store physical inventories and training.
