Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. seeks an Inventory Specialist to manage HUB operations, coordinate order pulling and shipping, and support cycle counts and stocking. You will work with the store management team to ensure accuracy and efficiency in daily HUB activities.

This role requires retail experience, basic merchandising and inventory skills, good communication, and the ability to operate a forklift if certified. Flexibility to work nights/weekends is preferred and safety is emphasized.

Qualifications

• Prior retail experience and basic merchandising skills are required.
• Strong inventory management abilities and accuracy in record keeping.
• Good oral and written communication and basic math skills are necessary.
• Ability to operate forklifts if certified and applicable.

Responsibilities

• Pull and ship HUB orders on time.
• If HUB order can’t be filled, call servicing store before next HUB run explaining how to reorder.
• Assist with cycle counts in parts department.
• Assist with plan-o-grams and stocking of parts.
• Perform department callbacks and MAXI changes as directed.
• Uphold safety, security and record-keeping policies.
