Job summary

ABB in Lancaster, TX is seeking a Planning & Fulfillment professional to help optimize inventory, improve on-time delivery, and align supply with demand. This onsite role supports development of planning processes and tools while ensuring adherence to inventory targets and efficient lead times.

You will analyze DIH, lead times, and forecast accuracy, collaborate across functions, and identify root causes for performance gaps, driving continuous improvement in a dynamic operations environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field with 5+ years of relevant experience, or Associate's Degree/HS Diploma with 8+ years.
• 3+ years of scheduling/production scheduling or planning experience.
• 3+ years of SAP or other ERP systems experience.
• Candidates must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining the right inventory levels, optimizing them according to the company's targets while ensuring high customer service level.
• Supporting and maintaining inventory management processes for finished/semi-finished goods and/or raw materials in line with company guidelines.
• Performing standard and ad hoc detailed analyses of planning and fulfillment metrics, including DIH, on-time delivery, lead time, forecast accuracy, and resource utilization.
• Identifying key root causes for non-performance and drives improvement initiatives across businesses.
