Job summary

Vertiv in Lincoln, Nebraska is seeking a Warehouse/Materials Planner to process work orders, pull inventory, and support production with chassis and brackets.

You will follow FIFO, rotate stock, and collaborate with receiving, purchasing, and accounting to resolve discrepancies. Strong planning, organization, and communication are essential.

High school diploma required; 1–5 years in material planning or warehouse management preferred; forklift experience is a plus or can be trained.

Responsibilities

• Process work orders.
• Pull inventory to fill work orders.
• Retrieve chassis, brackets, and materials from the warehouse for production.
• Follow steps and guidelines when filling work orders.
• Use First-In, First-Out inventory method.
• Rotate stock and consolidate pallets to remove overflow.
• Organize metal items upon receipt.
• Coordinate with receiving, purchasing, and accounting to resolve receipt discrepancies.
• Move stock in the IQMS system daily.
• Maintain an organized warehouse.
