Job summary

Vertiv in Lincoln, NE is seeking a Warehouse Associate to assist in proper staffing and coordinate warehouse activities. You will work with the Training & Inventory Coordinator to organize training for workers within the warehouse area, and oversee material movement to assure inventory accuracy.

You will direct warehouse staff to supply parts for the Production team. You will collaborate with management to streamline inventory quantities and improve the warehouse layout for efficient part

Qualifications

• Forklift operation required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in proper staffing for all areas by sending employees home when necessary due to lack of work.
• Oversees the movement of material throughout the plant to assure inventory accuracy.
• Directs and coordinates warehouse staff to supply parts and items for Production team.
• Work with their Manager on developing improvements to streamline warehouse inventory quantities and improve layout for efficient part pulling.
• Orders and maintains pallets and crates. Manage scrap reports, removal of inventory, and initiate pickup of scrap.
• Performs misc. duties in the absence of the warehouse Supervisor.
