Job summary

nVent is seeking a Material Clerk in Oregon, WI to support our world-class operations. You will coordinate movement of electrical and structural materials across locations and ensure accurate staging, receipt, and storage in our ERP system.

Responsibilities include material retrieval and staging, cycle counts, issuing purchase orders to maintain stock, forklift operations, crate building, and collaboration with suppliers. Strong attention to detail and teamwork are required to succeed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Experience in material handling in warehouse/manufacturing.
• Able to lift up to 70 pounds, stand, walk.
• Forklift certification or experience required.
• Valid Wisconsin Driver's License.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
• Clear communication across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve and stage materials for jobs, returns, and service.
• Unload materials, perform 3-way match, and store in locations.
• Receipt materials into the ERP system.
• Submit required documentation to accounting.
• Conduct cycle counts.
• Coordinate with suppliers to resolve discrepancies.
• Initiate purchase orders to maintain stock of materials and supplies.
• Keep receiving areas neat and orderly; operate forklifts.
• Build crates for service and warranty as needed.
• Assist in other duties as assigned.
