Job summary

Urschel, a 100% employee-owned company, seeks an Inventory Cycle Counter to join the Planning & Scheduling team. You will primarily locate and count parts, reconcile counts with system records, and investigate discrepancies to maintain accurate inventory data.

This role requires attention to detail, mathematical proficiency, and the ability to work independently or with cross-functional teams in a manufacturing setting. Applications accepted through Oct 28, 2026.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong mathematical, organizational, computer, and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with high accuracy on repetitive counts.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and document results.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work with cross-functional teams.
• Manufacturing/inventory control experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Count parts from cycle count list and verify on-hand quantities against system records.
• Document results and research discrepancies.
• Collaborate with Planning & Scheduling, manufacturing, warehouse, and material-handling teams.
• Assist with inventory audits and material-management activities.
• Identify process improvements to strengthen inventory accuracy.
