Job summary

Urschel Laboratories, Inc. is seeking an Inventory Cycle Counter to join our Planning & Scheduling team in Chesterton, IN. The role involves cycle counts, reconciling inventory with system records, and supporting process improvements to accuracy.

Starting pay is $21.77/hour. Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma and strong math, organizational, computer, and communication skills; manufacturing/inventory experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong mathematical, organizational, computer and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with ability to perform repetitive counts.
• Experience in manufacturing/inventory control preferred.

Responsibilities

• Count parts from cycle count list and verify quantities against system records.
• Investigate discrepancies and document results.
• Work with planning, manufacturing, warehouse to resolve issues.
• Assist with inventory audits and material-management activities.
• Identify improvements to strengthen inventory accuracy.
