Job summary

Pierce Manufacturing, an Oshkosh company, is seeking a Cycle Counter at our Milwaukee plant. You will maintain inventory accuracy by reconciling daily count targets, transact inventory in the ERP system, and work with the Material Coordinator and Manufacturing to resolve variances.

Responsibilities include counting parts, reviewing locations, analyzing discrepancies, training teammates, and supporting off-site counts.

Qualifications

Experience in inventory control and JD Edwards (JDE) is required.
Ability to operate Material Handling Equipment (MHE) and use ERP for data entry.
Analytical and problem-solving skills; prior materials department experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Plan and review daily count targets for the assigned plant.
Coordinate with Material Coordinator and Manufacturing to cut off inventory charges before count completion.
Review item locations and accurately count parts.
Review and reconcile cycle count deviations.
Perform root cause analysis of variances.
Enter data into ERP and use email for communication.
Support daily discrepancy requests outside required counts.
Daily reconciliation of on-hand balance for shortage report items with variances.
Collaborate to correct BOM/handling errors and repetitive discrepancies.
Support off-site inventory counts.
Work with Finance and external auditors as needed.
Obtain approvals from Material Supervisor and communicate inaccuracies to the materials team.
