Job summary

ID Logistics in Ocala, FL is seeking a cycle counter to support the site Operations Manager with accurate inventory records, order verification, and meticulous documentation. The role requires conducting daily cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and managing damaged or obsolete stock while ensuring food safety and GMP compliance.

Responsibilities include processing returns, signing off on paperwork, and assisting in physical inventories to maintain inventory integrity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• Knowledge of inventory management procedures and warehousing terminology.
• Proficiency with Excel and basic computer skills.
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Performing cycle counts daily as assigned.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and identify root causes.
• Pull slow moving or obsolete inventory for disposal, salvage, or donation.
• Process returned shipments and classify as first quality or damaged.
• Ensure proper written documentation is signed off and filed.
• Support physical inventories and samplings to maintain integrity.
• Reconcile records and correct discrepancies in the system.
• Identify unique inventory occurrences and prevent future issues.
• Maintain food safety and sanitation standards per guidelines.
• Follow GMPs and report noncompliance.
• Observe safety rules and assist in enforcement.
