Job summary

Constellium Van Buren is a state-of-the-art production facility in the Detroit metro area, producing aluminum automotive structures. The materials team performs daily cycle counts, ensures proper storage, and tracks movements using scan tools and Plex screens.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1–3 years inventory management and/or manufacturing experience.
• Knowledge of FIFO method.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cycle counts with scan gun and coordinate with production.
• Ensure material is stored in correct locations.
• Complete daily hi-lo checklists and ensure hi-lo equipment is properly charged and maintained.
• Follow cycle count program instructions and assist with discrepancies.
• Learn all parts and their assigned locations and ensure material movements are scanned.
