Job summary

US Farathane in Auburn Hills, MI seeks an experienced Inventory Cycle Counter to support inventory accuracy initiatives and reconcile discrepancies. The role requires cycle counting of raw materials, components, and finished goods, plus collaboration with the Materials Manager and plant teams to reduce obsolescence and improve cost efficiency.

Responsibilities include labeling locations, assisting with engineering changes, attending APQP kickoffs, and processing vendor releases via EDI or email.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent; 6 months to 1 year related experience and/or training.
• APICS Certification CPIM preferred.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret basic business materials; ability to write reports and present information to groups.

Responsibilities

• Track materials for engineering changes and balance outs to minimize obsolescence.
• Perform scheduled cycle counts of raw materials, components, and finished goods.
• Assist in labeling locations for raw materials, components, and packaging.
• Support plant activities to achieve quality, productivity, and cost reduction goals.
• Attend APQP and kickoff meetings for new jobs.
• EDI, email, or fax release orders to vendors.
• Support annual physical inventory activity.
• Investigate and adjust negative inventories daily.
• Adhere to company policies and OSHA safety procedures.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping in assigned areas.
