SMP Automotive System Alabama Inc. in Cottondale, AL is seeking a Cycle Counter for the 1st shift to support inventory accuracy, reconciliation, and documentation of discrepancies.

You will perform daily cycle counts, verify locations and lot codes, and work with the Inventory Control Coordinator in Holland to resolve variances. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, automotive manufacturing experience, and SAP knowledge; OSHA and 5S familiarity are valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in automotive manufacturing environment preferred.
• Familiar with SAP software and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cycle counts and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Identify and research discrepancies and document adjustments.
• Collaborate with the Inventory Control Coordinator to resolve issues.
• Ensure proper identification, location, and lot code accuracy.
• Support on-time delivery and picking accuracy for orders.
• Assist with other duties as needed.
