Job summary

Core-Mark International is seeking an Inventory Cycle Counter at the Raleigh, NC facility. You will perform counts of physical inventory, help ensure accuracy of stock records, and contribute to efficient warehouse operations while working a Monday–Friday schedule with a 5am–1:30pm shift.

The role requires basic math skills, 6+ months in a warehouse counter position, and the ability to lift up to 65 pounds. Training on AS400 or SAP is expected if not already known.

Qualifications

• 6+ months inventory/cycle counter experience in a warehouse.
• Ability to count inventory with accurate math using adding machines.
• Willingness to learn AS400 or SAP.

Responsibilities

• Perform counts of the physical inventory and research ways to insure efficiencies within the inventory processes.
• Count material, equipment, merchandise, and supplies in-stock to provide inventory records for the warehouse.
• Counting materials, equipment, merchandise, and supplies in-stock; creating total inventory records.
• Comparing inventories to office records and computing figures from records.
• Verifying clerical computations against physical count of stock and investigating discrepancies.
• Monitoring inventory rotations and making recommendations as needed.
• Preparing reports such as inventory balances, weekly cycle counts, and production breakdowns.
• Preparing list of depleted items and recommending survey of defective/unusable items.
• Reviewing and investigating daily reports directed by the Auditor.
• Maintaining shrink at or below company standard.
• Understanding overall business and departments in how they impact inventory and its integrity.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
