Job summary

Core-Mark International is seeking an Inventory Cycle Counter in Fort Worth, TX to perform counts of physical inventory and optimize inventory processes. You will count materials, equipment, merchandise, and supplies, providing inventory records to support warehouse accuracy and quality assurance.

The ideal candidate possesses a High School Diploma or GED, 1+ years in inventory/cycle counting, strong math skills, and familiarity with AS400 or SAP.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or GED is required.
• 1+ year inventory/cycle counter experience in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to count inventory with strong math skills using adding machines.
• Must learn or have experience with AS400 or SAP.

Responsibilities

• Count materials, equipment, merchandise, and supplies in-stock; create total inventory records.
• Compare inventories to office records and compute figures from records.
• Verify clerical computations against physical count and investigate discrepancies.
• Monitor inventory rotations and make recommendations as needed.
• Prepare reports such as inventory balances, weekly cycle counts, and production breakdowns.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
